Luchino is our first Maine Coon male. He's a real charmer with a fantastic personality! He was born in Danish cattery Doanto. As soon as we saw him at 17 days old, we fell in love with him completely! We were very happy when Dorthe decided to call him the way we wanted. Karolina invented it for our first MCO male long time before Luchino was born. Luchino is a male with a very strong boning, big square muzzle, strong chin, long tail and very wild look, which made many judges fall in love with him immediately! We call him Lucek, Lucas or Lucenty also, as well as jokingly Łapciuszek. Don't be fooled by his wild looks! He's in real a teddy bear who loves to be hugged and cuddled. He's very friendly. He's not trustful towards strangers, he adores his family and other cats. He is the boss of the whole cat crew, but he respects every lady like a real gentleman. All the girls are ok with this situation, although Misty tried to fight with him a little bit, but he managed to handle her as well. ;-o) Luchino often comes when he is called, then he rubs around your legs, then he jumps into your lap and discretely gives you signs that here has come the time to prove the feeling is mutual! He is a very talkative cat. He likes organising the gathering of the whole cat crew and then he sings with his sweet baby voice: "mrau-mrau!". 

Trivia!!!

Luchino is the diminutive of name Luca. We wanted to call Luchino like this because of the name of the son of female main character from the film "The King's Whore" (Luca Alessandro de Verua) and also because one of Karolina's favourite director is Luchino Visconti.
